Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also treat similar technologies (browser localStorage, sessionStorage) as “cookies” for the purposes of this policy because they serve the same role.

2. The cookies we use

The storefront uses cookies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary— required for the site to function. These include the Auth0 session cookies that keep you signed in, the shopping-cart key in your browser's localStorage, and the CSRF protection token. The site cannot work without them, so they cannot be disabled via the storefront.
  • Functional — remember your preferences (e.g. recently viewed products, dismissed banners). Disabling them does not break the site but means you will have to re-set those preferences on each visit.
  • Analytics — anonymous usage counters that let us understand which pages and features are used most. We do not currently load any third-party analytics scripts (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.); when we add one, this section will be updated and the new tracker will be opt-in.

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Third-party cookies

Some pages embed content from third parties — in particular the PayHere payment flow, which sets its own cookies on the payments domain to manage your session there. Those cookies are governed by PayHere's own privacy policy.

4. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time via your browser settings. Doing so for the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, keeping items in your cart, or completing checkout. Modern browsers also offer per-site permission controls (Chrome → Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings; Safari → Preferences → Privacy; Firefox → Settings → Privacy & Security).

5. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever the categories of cookies on the storefront change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
